About Me
Sonia’s Story
Sonia is passionate about sharing her love of health and fitness with others. She trained as a personal trainer, specialising in strength and conditioning, almost 20 years ago and has since worked with a range of clients to support their journey in the pursuit of optimum holistic health. As well as strength and conditioning, Sonia is a keen yoga and Pilates practitioner and teacher and has been practising yoga and meditation for over 25 years. Sonia qualified as a yoga teacher in 2016 with Special Yoga, specialising in Teen Yoga and yoga for Special Populations, and has since completed vinyasa yoga teacher training with Vidya Heisel at Frog Lotus Yoga in Spain, and advanced teacher training with Louisa Craig and David Keil at LKY Yoga; she is also a DRU meditation teacher. Sonia has a keen interest in Indian philosophy, and endeavours to live according to yogic principles. In 2023, Sonia qualified as a Pilates teacher with Future Fit. After experiencing a spine injury a number of years ago, Sonia found Pilates to be an invaluable form of exercise on her path to recovery and believes that everyone can benefit from a regular Pilates practice regardless of age, ability or experience.
